Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Functional Domain Specialist to join our Cloud Success Services (CSS) team in India, supporting strategic customers across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. In this role, you will provide expert consultancy and advisory services, translating complex business ideas and concepts into implementable, supportable designs aligned with Oracle standards. You will leverage your deep SaaS functional domain expertise to deliver technical solutions, apply industry best practices, and ensure customer success in their cloud journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic consultancy and advisory services to key MEA customers on Oracle SaaS applications, focusing on functional domain expertise.
• Translate customer business requirements, ideas, and concepts into scalable, implementable designs that adhere to Oracle best practices.
• Design and architect technical solutions aligned with Oracle Cloud standards, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability.
• Lead functional workshops and requirement-gathering sessions to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Apply industry-leading best practices to configure, customize, and extend Oracle SaaS solutions for strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and support, to resolve complex customer issues.
• Conduct gap analysis between customer needs and Oracle capabilities, recommending tailored implementation roadmaps.
• Mentor junior team members on functional domain knowledge and Oracle implementation methodologies.
• Deliver post-implementation support, knowledge transfer, and enablement to ensure long-term customer success.
• Stay abreast of Oracle product updates and industry trends to proactively advise customers on emerging opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a SaaS functional consultant, with proven expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
• Deep knowledge of at least one functional domain such as HCM, ERP, SCM, or CX within Oracle SaaS.
• Strong experience in translating business requirements into functional designs and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle configuration tools, extensions, and integration methodologies.
• Proven track record of delivering successful implementations for enterprise customers in the MEA region.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as needed to customer sites within MEA (up to 30%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Functional Consultant certification (e.g., Oracle Fusion HCM/ERP Cloud Specialist).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Success Services (CSS) or similar customer advisory roles.
• Background in industries such as public sector, financial services, or manufacturing relevant to MEA markets.
• Familiarity with Oracle Redwood design system and low-code customization tools like VB Studio.
• Advanced skills in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Oracle Project Management Cloud.
