Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Functional Domain Specialist to join our Cloud Services Success (CSS) team in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, based in India. In this role, you will provide expert consultancy and advisory services to our strategic customers, translating complex business ideas and concepts into implementable, supportable designs. You will leverage your deep SaaS domain expertise to deliver technical solutions aligned with Oracle standards and industry best practices, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic consultancy and advisory services to key MEA customers on Oracle SaaS solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
• Translate customer business requirements, ideas, and concepts into scalable, supportable functional designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Design and architect technical solutions that adhere to Oracle's best practices, standards, and cloud architecture principles.
• Lead functional workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and gap analysis to ensure solutions meet customer needs and Oracle capabilities.
• Apply industry best practices in SaaS implementations across domains like Finance, HCM, SCM, or CX to drive successful customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, support, and sales, to resolve complex customer issues and escalations.
• Develop and deliver customized solution demonstrations, proofs of concept, and advisory reports to influence customer decision-making.
• Mentor junior team members on functional domain expertise, Oracle methodologies, and customer engagement best practices.
• Monitor and analyze customer usage patterns to recommend proactive enhancements and upsell opportunities within the Oracle ecosystem.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle security, data privacy, and governance standards in all solution designs and implementations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SaaS functional consulting, with proven expertise in Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., ERP, HCM, SCM, or CX).
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and technical solutions aligned with Oracle standards.
• Strong experience providing consultancy to enterprise customers in the MEA region or similar markets.
• Deep knowledge of industry best practices in at least one functional domain (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, or Customer Experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle SaaS configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as needed to customer sites in MEA (up to 20-30%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud certification (e.g., Functional Consultant, Implementation Specialist) in relevant modules.
• Experience leading large-scale SaaS transformation projects for strategic customers.
• Familiarity with Oracle Redwood design system and modern cloud-native development practices.
• Prior experience in the MEA market with understanding of regional business challenges and regulations.
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) or equivalent professional certifications in cloud consulting.
