Position Overview

The Learning Designer will serve as the owner of content development within Oracle's Healthcare venue, building strong relationships with stakeholders to drive effective learning solutions. This role involves producing high-quality, engaging content that adheres to Oracle's established development processes and aligns with healthcare industry needs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and product teams to create impactful learning experiences that support Oracle's healthcare customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and interactive materials tailored to healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate complex healthcare concepts into accessible, engaging formats
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective, measurable learning solutions
• Ensure all content adheres to Oracle's content development processes, standards, and compliance requirements for healthcare training
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Healthcare venue stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business goals
• Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to recommend targeted learning interventions
• Develop assessments, quizzes, and knowledge checks to evaluate learner comprehension and training effectiveness
• Iterate on content based on feedback, analytics, and performance data to continuously improve learning outcomes
• Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks
• Stay current with healthcare industry trends, regulations, and emerging learning technologies to innovate content delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design or learning content development, preferably in healthcare or enterprise software
• Proven expertise in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and healthcare training requirements
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration across teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, LMS platforms, and content management systems
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, compliant content under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or Healthcare-related field
• Experience designing learning solutions for healthcare IT, EHR systems, or clinical workflows
• Familiarity with Oracle products, cloud technologies, or enterprise learning ecosystems
• Certification in instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD) or healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA awareness)
• Experience with multimedia tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, or Camtasia for advanced content creation
