Overview

Oracle is recruiting a Life Sciences Tech Applications Sales Representative to sell software and cloud services to a select list of pharmaceutical and medical device companies across the United States. The role focuses on driving sales of Oracle's comprehensive suite of clinical, trial management, and pharmacovigilance products, along with the innovative AI data platform for research and the Agentic Life Sciences Suite for clinical applications. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of life sciences through cutting-edge technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with targeted pharmaceutical and medical device accounts.
  • Sell Oracle's full suite of clinical, trial management, and pharmacovigilance software solutions.
  • Promote and demonstrate the AI data platform for life sciences research and Agentic Life Sciences Suite.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales engineers and product specialists, to craft compelling solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept trials tailored to customer needs.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas while tracking pipeline and forecasting accurately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales, ideally in life sciences or healthcare.
  • Deep knowledge of clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, or life sciences R&D processes.
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to articulate complex SaaS and cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with executive audiences.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets in a quota-driven environment.
