Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data center hardware engineers and technicians in North Ryde.
• Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of OCI data center hardware infrastructure.
• Drive innovation in hardware support processes to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement for hardware components and services.
• Develop and implement strategies for capacity planning and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards in operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and lead root cause analysis for hardware incidents.
• Collaborate with global OCI teams to align with corporate objectives and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data center operations, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in server hardware, networking, and storage systems (e.g., Oracle, Cisco, etc.).
• Proven track record managing large-scale data center environments in cloud infrastructure.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building and motivating high-performance teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with incident management processes.
