Overview

Oracle is seeking a Member Technical Staff to join our innovative engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-performance cloud-based applications using cutting-edge technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that power Oracle's global enterprise products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Java, Python, or Go.
• Build and optimize microservices architectures on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Implement scalable data pipelines and database solutions with Oracle Database.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in distributed systems.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development with strong programming skills.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages and RESTful API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with distributed systems.
