Netsuite Sales Representative

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Overview

We are seeking a Sales Representative for mid-market companies (annual revenue ¥3B–¥20B). NetSuite employs a “land and expand” strategy, starting with small implementations and expanding cloud ERP functionality as customer needs grow. The role demands generating broad coverage, collaborating with inside sales to create numerous deal opportunities, securing rapid initial adoptions, engaging decision-makers, aligning our value proposition with business challenges, and closing proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify mid-market customers (¥3B–¥20B revenue) for initial NetSuite implementations.
  • Generate high activity levels to create broad market coverage and numerous deal touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with inside sales to qualify and advance opportunities.
  • Engage decision-makers and key stakeholders to understand business challenges.
  • Align NetSuite's value proposition with customer needs and pain points.
  • Deliver tailored proposals and demonstrations to drive initial adoptions.
  • Close deals rapidly while setting foundation for future expansions.
  • Track pipeline, forecast accurately, and report on sales activities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably SaaS/ERP.
  • Proven track record in mid-market sales (¥3B–¥20B revenue companies).
  • Strong hunter mentality with ability to generate leads independently.
  • Excellent Japanese communication skills; business-level English preferred.
  • Experience with “land and expand” sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with cloud ERP solutions like NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar.
