Position Overview

As a NetSuite Senior Sales Consultant - High Tech, you will play a pivotal role in guiding high-tech companies through their digital transformation using Oracle NetSuite's cloud-based ERP solutions. You will collaborate with sales teams and prospects to demonstrate value, architect tailored solutions, and close complex deals. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with innovative tech firms while leveraging your expertise in SaaS sales and industry challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions with high-tech prospects to uncover business challenges and align NetSuite solutions with their ERP, CRM, and financial needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations showcasing NetSuite's capabilities in inventory management, order fulfillment, and revenue recognition for tech companies
  • Develop customized solution proposals, RFPs, and ROI analyses tailored to high-tech verticals like software, hardware, and semiconductors
  • Collaborate with sales executives, partners, and technical teams to architect end-to-end NetSuite implementations
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers in high-tech organizations
  • Drive the sales cycle from lead qualification through negotiation, closing multi-million-dollar deals
  • Provide post-sale support by facilitating customer success handoffs and identifying expansion opportunities
  • Stay abreast of high-tech industry trends, competitive landscapes, and NetSuite product updates to position solutions effectively
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to sales enablement through training and best practices sharing
  • Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and key metrics using Salesforce and internal tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS/ERP sales consulting, with proven success in the high-tech industry
  • Demonstrated track record of closing $500K+ NetSuite or comparable cloud ERP deals
  • Deep knowledge of high-tech business processes including subscription billing, hardware lifecycle management, and R&D cost tracking
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills with experience using NetSuite in live demos
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with executive stakeholders
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or Challenger Sale
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or SuiteAnalytics
  • Experience with high-tech sub-verticals like SaaS companies, IoT manufacturers, or semiconductor firms
  • Technical background in software development or IT consulting within high-tech environments
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or equivalent experience in enterprise sales
  • Familiarity with complementary Oracle products like Fusion Cloud or CPQ
