Overview

Senior Network Developer supporting the design, deployment, and operations of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), a large-scale global cloud computing environment. Role involves advanced network engineering to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network architectures for OCI global data centers.
• Deploy and configure networking hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Optimize network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Monitor network health using advanced tools and implement proactive alerting.
• Automate network operations using scripting (Python, Ansible) and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and conduct regular audits.
• Provide on-call support for production network incidents and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in cloud environments.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SDN technologies.
• Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper hardware and OCI/AWS networking services.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with network automation tools like Ansible, Terraform.
