Overview

Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. Collaborates with engineering teams to build scalable network solutions for cloud services. Ensures high availability, performance, and security across Oracle's cloud computing platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures for OCI's global data centers.
• Deploy and configure virtual networking components including VCNs, subnets, and gateways.
• Optimize network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues in production environments.
• Monitor network health using OCI tools and implement proactive alerting systems.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network policies and firewall rules.
• Automate network provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and OCI APIs.
• Perform capacity planning and scaling for high-traffic cloud workloads.
• Document network designs and contribute to operational runbooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud networking, preferably with OCI or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS routing protocols.
• Proficiency in OCI networking services (VCN, Load Balancers, FastConnect).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Python scripting).
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and zero-trust architectures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
