Overview

Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of network infrastructure. Drives innovation in cloud networking to meet enterprise customer demands in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network architectures for OCI global deployments.
• Deploy and configure virtual cloud networks (VCNs), subnets, and gateways.
• Monitor and optimize network performance using OCI tools and telemetry.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues across multi-region environments.
• Implement security controls including firewalls, DDoS protection, and encryption.
• Automate network provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and OCI APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on service reliability and capacity planning.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the OCI network team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud networking or enterprise network engineering.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking services.
• Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, VPN, and Direct Connect technologies.
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Python, Ansible).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and on-call experience in production environments.
