Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) seeks an experienced Principal Machine Learning and Generative AI Engineer (IC4) for our OCI Generative AI and AI Solutions engineering team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. You will build cutting-edge Agentic solutions for high-impact customers. Join us to drive innovation in product development for Gen AI and AI solutions engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Generative AI and Agentic solutions using OCI platforms.
• Lead end-to-end ML model development, from prototyping to production deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact AI solutions for customers.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
• Conduct research on state-of-the-art Gen AI techniques and integrate into products.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps for AI engineering.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and architect tailored AI solutions.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in all AI solution implementations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI.
• Strong expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
• Proven track record in building and deploying scalable AI solutions in cloud (OCI/AWS/GCP).
• Deep knowledge of Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.
• Excellent Python programming skills and experience with MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow).
• IC4-level individual contributor with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
