Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Machine Learning & Generative AI Engineer (IC3) to join our OCI Generative AI Solutions team. You will build advanced agentic solutions for high-impact customers, driving innovation in product development. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Gen AI technologies in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced agentic AI solutions using OCI Generative AI services.
• Collaborate with product teams to define and implement ML models for customer use cases.
• Build scalable, production-ready Gen AI applications and pipelines.
• Optimize AI models for performance, cost, and reliability on OCI infrastructure.
• Conduct experiments and evaluations to advance state-of-the-art Gen AI capabilities.
• Integrate AI solutions with OCI services like compute, storage, and networking.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and demonstrate solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or Generative AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud ML frameworks.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and agentic AI systems.
• Hands-on expertise with OCI, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-impact results.
