Overview

We are seeking a Charge Services Associate Consultant to support federal revenue cycle implementations, primarily for the Department of Defense (DoD), with potential involvement in Veterans Affairs (VA) and Indian Health Service (IHS) initiatives. Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Cerner Millennium charge services modules for federal revenue cycle workflows.
• Support DoD, VA, and IHS implementations, ensuring compliance with federal regulations like HIPAA and FISMA.
• Analyze client requirements and design charge capture, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Perform system builds, testing, and validation in Millennium environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve charge services issues during go-live and post-implementation phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, financial, and IT stakeholders.
• Document configurations, workflows, and training materials for federal clients.
• Provide on-site and remote support for system optimization and user adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Cerner Millennium charge services build and configuration.
• Proven track record in federal healthcare projects (DoD, VA, or IHS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management and billing regulations.
• Proficiency in Cerner tools like PowerChart, SurgiNet, and FirstNet.
• Experience with HL7 interfaces and FHIR standards in complex environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, IT, or related field; Cerner certification a plus.
