Overview

We are seeking a Charge Services Senior Consultant to support federal revenue cycle implementations, primarily for the Department of Defense (DoD), with potential involvement in Veterans Affairs (VA) and Indian Health Service (IHS) initiatives. Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and customization of Cerner Millennium Charge Services modules for federal clients.
• Support revenue cycle management implementations, including billing, coding, and claims processing.
• Collaborate with DoD, VA, and IHS stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and go-live support for charge capture workflows.
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, DoD-specific standards).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client teams on Charge Services functionality.
• Contribute to project documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cerner Millennium Charge Services build and implementation.
• Proven track record supporting federal healthcare clients (DoD, VA, or IHS preferred).
• Deep knowledge of revenue cycle processes in complex healthcare environments.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Business, or related field; certifications a plus.
