Overview

Oracle is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to lead grid-to-rack electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulations for AI data centers. Responsibilities

  • Lead EMT simulations from grid to rack level for AI data centers.
  • Analyze power quality, stability, and reliability under various operating conditions.
  • Develop and validate dynamic models for power systems components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on grid integration strategies.
  • Perform transient stability studies and recommend mitigation solutions.
  • Optimize power delivery architectures for high-density AI workloads.
  • Conduct risk assessments for electromagnetic disturbances and resilience.
  • Document findings and present results to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering and EMT simulations.
  • Proficiency in PSCAD, EMTP-RV, or similar simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of grid codes, IEEE standards, and power electronics.
  • Experience with data center power systems or renewable integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
