Overview

Oracle is seeking a Principal Applications Engineer for SCM Cloud in Redwood City, CA. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of supply chain management applications within Oracle's cloud platform. Drive innovation and deliver scalable solutions that empower enterprise customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop advanced SCM cloud applications using Java, microservices, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Lead end-to-end feature development from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in high-volume cloud environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices and standards.
• Integrate SCM solutions with Oracle's ecosystem, including ERP, analytics, and AI/ML services.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement proactive monitoring strategies.
• Contribute to open-source projects and represent Oracle at industry conferences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with focus on enterprise applications.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native development.
• Strong knowledge of SCM domains including inventory, procurement, and order management.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Git, and Jenkins.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
