Responsibilities

• Design and develop generative AI models, LLMs, and AI agents tailored to healthcare data challenges.
• Lead research on cutting-edge ML techniques to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Prototype and deploy scalable AI solutions for real-world healthcare applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into HDI's data intelligence platform.
• Analyze complex healthcare datasets to extract insights and build predictive models.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance using advanced metrics and benchmarking.
• Stay abreast of AI advancements and contribute to Oracle's IP through publications and patents.
• Mentor junior scientists and advocate for best practices in applied AI research.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field; Master's with exceptional experience considered.
• 8+ years of applied research experience in ML, with 3+ years in generative AI/LLMs.
• Proven track record of deploying AI models in production environments.
• Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and ML frameworks; experience with healthcare data a plus.
• Strong publication record in top AI/ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to tackle ambiguous, high-impact challenges.
