Overview

The Facilities Team within Oracle's Global Indirect Procurement department manages the acquisition of Real Estate and Facilities services globally to support Oracle's business units. We align with global objectives, leveraging spend and strategic supplier relationships. The America’s Team seeks a Principal Buyer to lead strategic efforts in Facilities Procurement, focusing on project management, contract review, and commodities like Energy Procurement and Data Center Design/Construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Facilities categories across the Americas region.
• Manage procurement projects from inception through execution and closeout.
• Review, negotiate, and draft contracts for Real Estate and Facilities services.
• Oversee commodity areas including Energy Procurement and supplier selection.
• Drive Data Center Design, Construction, and Fit-up procurement strategies.
• Collaborate with global teams to align on objectives and leverage spend.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to optimize costs.
• Analyze market trends and recommend sourcing strategies to support business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in Facilities or Real Estate.
• Proven project management skills with successful track record.
• Strong experience in contract review, negotiation, and legal compliance.
• Knowledge of Energy Procurement and Data Center construction/fit-up.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
