Overview

Partners with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that solve higher education business challenges. Drives Oracle Cloud adoption by accelerating discovery, design, and deployment of cloud services. Focuses on the West region to maximize customer consumption and success.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with higher education customers to understand business needs and design tailored Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Demonstrate Oracle Cloud architectures through proofs-of-concept and workshops.
• Lead deployment of cloud services, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
• Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities and accelerate cloud adoption.
• Work with engineering and product teams to influence roadmap and feature development.
• Drive customer consumption by optimizing cloud usage and identifying expansion opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams and customers.
• Stay current on Oracle Cloud innovations and higher education industry trends.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proven track record designing solutions for higher education or public sector clients.
• Deep expertise in cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and database.
• Strong consulting skills with ability to engage C-level executives and technical teams.
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments and migration strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to travel as needed in West US.
