Overview

An IaaS Principal Cloud Architect, Networking designs, reviews, and implements physical/logical infrastructure architecture for cloud projects. This role demands strong networking and consulting expertise. Flexible schedule up to midnight IST required to collaborate with US Cloud Engineering team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of scalable cloud networking architectures for IaaS environments.
• Review and validate infrastructure designs for performance and security.
• Implement networking solutions across hybrid cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project architecture and delivery.
• Provide expert consulting on network optimization and best practices.
• Conduct technical assessments and proof-of-concepts for new technologies.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle cloud standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud networking architecture, with IaaS expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking services.
• Strong experience with SDN, VPN, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Proven consulting skills in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication for stakeholder engagement and documentation.
• Availability for flexible hours overlapping US time zones.
