Position Overview

The Principal Cloud Solutions Engineer, Integration partners with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that solve critical business challenges. This role drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of cloud services through discovery, design, and deployment expertise. As a senior technical leader, you will architect complex integration solutions leveraging Oracle's cloud portfolio, including OCI, Fusion Applications, and integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to assess business requirements and design scalable Oracle Cloud integration architectures.
• Demonstrate Oracle Cloud solutions, including OCI Integration Cloud Service, API gateways, and event-driven architectures, in customer environments.
• Lead the discovery phase to identify integration opportunities and recommend Oracle cloud services for optimal adoption.
• Architect and deploy end-to-end integration solutions connecting Oracle Cloud applications with on-premises and third-party systems.
• Provide technical leadership during proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots, and production deployments to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Drive customer consumption growth by optimizing integration patterns that accelerate cloud migration and modernization efforts.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing on advanced integration best practices.
• Engage with Oracle product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
• Develop reusable integration assets, accelerators, and reference architectures to streamline deployments across customer engagements.
• Present complex technical solutions to executive stakeholders, translating business value into actionable cloud strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud integration and enterprise architectures.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Integration Cloud Service, or equivalent integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Proven track record designing and implementing RESTful APIs, SOA, microservices, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Node.js, with experience in cloud-native development practices.
• Experience leading customer-facing technical engagements, including workshops, POCs, and solution deployments.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Professional, Integration Cloud Specialist).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM) integrations.
• Familiarity with database integration using Oracle Autonomous Database or GoldenGate.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Advanced experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and API management platforms.
