An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. As Principal Consultant - Java Microservices with Core Banking, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices architectures for banking solutions in India. Drive innovation and deliver high-impact consulting services to Oracle clients in the financial sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of Java-based microservices for core banking systems.
• Design scalable, resilient solutions using Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for efficient microservices deployment.
• Integrate microservices with core banking platforms like Flexcube or Temenos.
• Optimize system performance, security, and compliance with RBI regulations.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and RFPs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with core banking domains and systems (e.g., Flexcube, Finacle).
• Proven track record in cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent consulting skills with experience in client-facing roles and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field; Oracle certifications preferred.
