Job Description
Overview
Principal Consultant role for Oracle Database experts with 8+ years in migration, design, and implementation of enterprise solutions using Oracle Database technologies. Focus on Oracle DBA for 12c, 18c, 19c, including DB architecture, RMAN backups, RAC, GoldenGate, OCI management, Exadata/ExaCC migrations to OCI DB Systems/ADW. Requires strong Unix scripting, virtualization skills, OCI certifications preferred, excellent communication, and travel willingness.
Responsibilities
- Manage Oracle Database Administration for 12c, 18c, 19c environments
- Design and implement Oracle DB architecture solutions
- Handle RMAN backup and recovery operations
- Implement and maintain Oracle RAC clusters
- Configure and manage GoldenGate replication
- Migrate Oracle Databases from Exadata/ExaCC to OCI DB Systems/ADW
- Administer Oracle DB on OCI with IaaS knowledge
- Develop Unix shell scripts for automation and virtualization
Qualifications
- 8+ years in Oracle DBA and enterprise migrations
- Expertise in Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c administration
- Experience with RMAN, RAC, GoldenGate
- Proven OCI database management and migrations
- Exadata/ExaCC to OCI migration experience
- OCI Certification (Foundation/Architect/Professional) preferred
