Job Description

Overview

As a Principal Consultant specializing in Outpatient Pharmacy, you’ll drive transformation for the world’s largest healthcare organizations. Leverage your pharmacy expertise and implementation skills to design safer, faster, and more efficient pharmacy workflows from inpatient to outpatient settings. Your work will deliver real-world impact for providers and patients alike.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Health Outpatient Pharmacy solutions for large-scale healthcare clients.
  • Design and optimize pharmacy workflows to enhance safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
  • Conduct system demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for pharmacy teams.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and develop customized solutions during deployment and go-live phases.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, case studies, and industry presentations.
  • Mentor junior consultants and support pre-sales activities including RFPs and client proposals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, with 5+ years in outpatient pharmacy systems.
  • Proven track record implementing Oracle Health (Cerner) Pharmacy solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of pharmacy workflows, regulations (e.g., USP <797>, <800>), and dispensing technologies.
  • Strong consulting skills with experience managing enterprise-level healthcare projects.
  • PharmD, RPh license, or equivalent clinical pharmacy credentials preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
