Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data lakehouse solutions using OCI services like Object Storage and Apache Iceberg.
• Lead design and optimization of data pipelines for high-volume compute telemetry data.
• Collaborate with product teams to define data models and analytics requirements.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes using Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in data governance.
• Perform performance tuning and cost optimization for data workloads.
• Integrate machine learning models into data pipelines for predictive analytics.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and observability across the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering with big data technologies.
• Expertise in building data lakehouses (Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi).
• Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, and SQL on cloud platforms.
• Experience with OCI, AWS, or Azure data services.
• Proven track record leading data transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
