Overview

We are seeking a seasoned security engineering professional to build and operate advanced security tools, processes, and automation. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating risks related to proprietary data across OCI and Oracle’s broader enterprise. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to protect sensitive data across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Build automation pipelines for real-time data risk detection, classification, and remediation.
• Integrate DLP tools with OCI services, endpoint security, and enterprise systems for comprehensive coverage.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for proprietary data flows and storage.
• Operate and maintain DLP platforms, including monitoring, tuning, and incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and product teams to embed security in development lifecycle.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure DLP program effectiveness.
• Lead investigations into data exfiltration incidents and recommend preventive measures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering, with 5+ years focused on DLP or data security.
• Expertise in DLP tools (Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview) and cloud security platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for building security automation.
• Deep knowledge of OCI, AWS, or Azure cloud services and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with SIEM, UEBA, and endpoint detection tools for data protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts.
