Overview

We're seeking a Principal Demand Planning Manager at Oracle to enable forecasting strategy and execution through advanced modeling, business intelligence, and market trend analysis. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in data analytics, scenario planning, and partnering with supply management functions. This role drives process improvements and iterates new learnings into strategic demand forecasting methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine demand forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and risk assessment.
• Analyze market, industry trends, and customer data to inform demand signals.
• Partner with supply chain, sales, and product teams to align forecasts with business goals.
• Drive process improvements in demand planning workflows and tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• Expertise in demand planning software (e.g., Oracle Demantra, SAP APO).
• Proficiency in data analytics tools like SQL, Python, R, and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and time-series forecasting.
• Proven track record of process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
