Overview

Oracle is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst for Deals and Customer Insights to drive strategic financial analysis for high-value deals and customer portfolios. This role partners with sales, product, and finance teams to provide actionable insights that optimize revenue growth and profitability. Based in the United States, you'll play a key role in shaping Oracle's deal strategy and customer success metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling and valuation for complex cloud and software deals, including pricing optimization and risk assessment.
• Analyze customer usage data to deliver insights on consumption trends, churn risks, and expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to structure deals that maximize ARR, TCV, and long-term customer value.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics and BI tools to track deal performance and pipeline health.
• Provide scenario analysis and forecasting support for executive deal reviews and quarterly business planning.
• Partner with product teams to assess pricing strategies and their impact on customer insights and revenue.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to inform deal negotiations and strategy.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive process improvements in deals finance workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in SaaS, cloud, or tech deals finance.
• Expertise in financial modeling, Excel, and tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle Analytics.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, etc.) and deal structuring.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present to senior leadership.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in customer data analytics and insights.
