Principal Financial Analyst, Product Lead – IaaS Workload Health

Overview

In this role, you will serve as a key business advisor to the product and engineering organization with end-to-end ownership of an IaaS Product Portfolio. You will drive strategic financial analysis, product roadmap development, and workload health optimization to ensure business growth and operational excellence. Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial insights with technical innovation in Oracle's cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product ownership for IaaS workload health portfolio, defining vision and strategy.
• Provide financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis to guide product decisions and investments.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to optimize workload performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop and track key metrics for product health, revenue impact, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product roadmaps and pricing strategies.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve IaaS platform scalability and reliability.
• Mentor junior analysts and present insights to senior leadership for strategic alignment.
• Identify risks and opportunities, recommending actionable solutions to maximize business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, product management, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise in IaaS technologies, cloud economics, and workload optimization.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Proven track record of influencing product strategy in fast-paced tech environments.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to executive stakeholders.
