Position Overview

As a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer in Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure, you will lead the development of cutting-edge platforms that support modernized healthcare solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead the development of full stack applications for Oracle Health's cloud-based healthcare platforms, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Design robust microservices architectures using modern frameworks to support automated healthcare workflows and data integration.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver innovative health data solutions.
  • Implement secure, compliant front-end and back-end components, adhering to healthcare standards like HIPAA and FHIR.
  • Mentor senior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices across the engineering team.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability in cloud environments.
  • Integrate AI/ML models and analytics into healthcare applications to enhance data accessibility and insights.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to modernize legacy systems into agile, automated platforms.
  • Prototype and iterate on new features, contributing to product strategy for Oracle Health offerings.
  • Champion agile methodologies and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery of mission-critical healthcare software.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with proven leadership in enterprise-scale projects.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies including React, Angular, or Vue.js, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency.
  • Deep experience with back-end development using Java, Python, Node.js, or Go, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL like Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling for high-volume healthcare data.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare software development, with familiarity in HL7 FHIR, HIPAA compliance, or electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle technologies, including OCI services, Oracle APEX, or Fusion Middleware.
  • Proven track record of building AI-driven applications or integrating machine learning models in production environments.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or publications in software engineering conferences.
  • Experience scaling systems for global, high-traffic healthcare platforms with real-time data processing.
