As a Principal Member of Technical Staff on the Block Storage team in Bengaluru, you will own software design and development for core components and features in the Block Storage Service. You are a strong programmer and distributed systems generalist, diving deep into any stack layer and designing scalable interactions. Responsibilities

• Design and develop core Block Storage Service components and features.
• Dive deep into low-level systems and distributed stack layers.
• Architect broad distributed system interactions for high scalability.
• Write high-quality, simple, and performant code.

• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in distributed systems design and implementation.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience with storage systems, block storage preferred.
• Proven ability to work in collaborative, agile environments.
