Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable distributed storage systems for OCI Object Storage.
• Optimize performance and reliability of object storage at petabyte scale.
• Develop APIs and services for multi-tenant cloud storage operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure architecture and deployment.
• Drive innovation in storage durability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production cloud environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps.
• Engage with customers to understand storage needs and improve services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in object storage technologies (S3, Ceph, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Go for high-performance systems.
• Proven track record building systems operating at massive scale.
• Experience with Linux, networking, and cloud security principles.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent; PhD preferred.
