Responsibilities

• Design and implement high availability features for Oracle Database core infrastructure.
• Develop robust database recovery mechanisms to ensure minimal downtime.
• Optimize systems for ultra-scalability in distributed environments.
• Write high-performance systems programming code in C/C++ and assembly.
• Debug and resolve complex issues in high availability and failover scenarios.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate HA solutions across database products.
• Conduct performance tuning and benchmarking for mission-critical workloads.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal tools for database technologies.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in systems programming, preferably with databases or OS kernels.
• Expertise in C/C++, multithreading, and low-level systems optimization.
• Strong knowledge of high availability, clustering, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with Oracle Database or similar enterprise RDBMS.
• Proven track record solving scalability challenges in production systems.
