Overview

Supports the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. As a Principal Network Developer, you will lead network architecture initiatives, optimize performance, and ensure high availability across Oracle's cloud computing platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and scale network solutions for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure network topologies for OCI global data centers.
• Deploy and configure virtual cloud networks (VCNs), gateways, and load balancers in OCI.
• Optimize network performance, latency, and throughput using OCI networking services.
• Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for network provisioning with Terraform and OCI APIs.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across multi-region OCI deployments.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and compliance.
• Lead network capacity planning and forecasting for growing cloud workloads.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to OCI network feature development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with 5+ years in cloud networking (OCI, AWS, Azure preferred).
• Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking services including VCNs, FastConnect, and Service Gateway.
• Proficiency in networking protocols (BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, SDN) and tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for network automation and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Ansible for IaC deployments.
• Proven track record in large-scale, high-availability network operations.
