Overview

The mission of our Network Reliability Engineering team is to provide services that allow our customers to drive operational excellence in OCI networks at scale. As a Principal Network Reliability Engineer, you will help design, build, test, deploy, and operate highly scalable solutions to support Oracle’s next-generation Cloud Infrastructure. This remote role offers the opportunity to tackle complex networking challenges in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable network reliability solutions for OCI at global scale.
• Build and automate network infrastructure using modern DevOps practices and tools.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for network systems.
• Deploy and manage high-availability network services across multi-region deployments.
• Operate and maintain network reliability platforms with 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues impacting production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network observability and monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in reliability practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering with focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in IP networking, BGP, MPLS, and SDN technologies.
• Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Strong experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Demonstrated ability to operate mission-critical networks with high uptime SLAs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with incident response processes.
