Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Technical Program Manager to join the Strategic Customers Engineering organization within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Group. In this critical role, you will partner with cross-functional teams across OCI to drive complex, high-impact programs that deliver exceptional value to our strategic customers. You will act as a strategic leader, ensuring seamless execution, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex technical programs across OCI, coordinating with engineering, product, sales, and customer success teams
• Define program roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics to ensure timely delivery of customer commitments
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolving blockers and escalating issues to senior leadership as needed
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align on priorities, resources, and dependencies for strategic initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement in program management processes, tools, and methodologies within OCI
• Communicate program status, progress, and outcomes to executives, customers, and stakeholders through clear reporting and presentations
• Partner with strategic customers to understand requirements and translate them into actionable OCI delivery plans
• Champion best practices in agile program management, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
• Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and optimize future program performance
• Mentor junior program managers and contribute to team development initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in technical program or project management within cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or enterprise software environments
• Proven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, and security
• Expertise in program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior executives and customers
• Demonstrated ability to manage risks, resolve conflicts, and drive results in ambiguous, high-pressure situations
• Experience with agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise customers
• PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Agilist certification
• Technical background in software engineering or systems architecture
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles within strategic accounts or consulting
• Familiarity with OCI services and Oracle's product portfolio
