Overview

As Principal Security Engineer - Hardware Security at Oracle, you will ensure the infrastructure powering OCI is the most secure. Apply your technical and business skills to assess hardware components and firmware architecture, while conducting offensive testing. Help build and operate massive-scale, integrated cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess architecture of hardware components and firmware for security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct offensive security testing on hardware and firmware systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure infrastructure for OCI.
• Develop and implement security best practices for cloud hardware environments.
• Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for multi-tenant cloud services.
• Lead security audits and penetration testing initiatives on hardware platforms.
• Provide expert guidance on hardware security to cross-functional teams.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats in hardware and firmware security landscapes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with focus on hardware/firmware.
• Deep expertise in offensive security testing and penetration methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially OCI or similar platforms.
• Experience with hardware security modules, TPMs, and secure boot processes.
• Proficiency in threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
