Overview

Oracle seeks a passionate Principal Security Engineer specializing in vulnerability management and cloud security for our UK team. You will lead efforts to enhance security posture for high-scale services and critical customers, assessing architecture and driving secure planning. Responsibilities

  • Lead vulnerability management programs across cloud environments for Oracle's critical services.
  • Assess and improve security architecture decisions to mitigate risks at scale.
  • Coordinate secure planning, development, and deployment processes with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of vulnerabilities and develop remediation strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor and respond to emerging threats in high-scale, multi-cloud environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive security posture improvements.
  • Produce detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with focus on vulnerability management.
  • Deep expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, OCI) and high-scale services.
  • Proven track record leading security initiatives in complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools and remediation frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with security architecture reviews.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
