Oracle Exadata Database team is building a new cloud native, Autonomous, multi-tenant, database optimized, smart storage cloud service based on the Exadata platform. This cost-effective solution is engineered for highest performance and availability across thousands of tenants to power Autonomous database offerings in Oracle Cloud and Cloud at Customer. Join our exciting team as a Principal Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer in Brno, Czech Republic.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure for exascale storage services.
• Develop automation and CI/CD pipelines for multi-tenant database cloud deployments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability systems for production environments.
• Optimize system performance and availability for mission-critical database workloads.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of SRE practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.
• Drive capacity planning and resource optimization for thousands of tenants.
• Contribute to on-call rotation and incident response for 24/7 service reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (OCI, AWS, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, networking, and storage technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and automation scripting (Python, Go).
• Proven track record managing high-scale, mission-critical production systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
