Overview

As a Principal Software Developer on the SaaS Cloud Security Team in Bengaluru, you will combine software and systems engineering to build and integrate innovative security tools for Oracle's SaaS cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing multiyear security strategies to enhance the security and compliance of Oracle's SaaS services. The team follows a DevSecOps approach, deploying new cyber-security solutions and integrating with third-party vendor systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable tools and applications for Oracle SaaS cloud security.
• Integrate security solutions with existing third-party vendor systems using DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate on multiyear security strategies to improve compliance and security posture.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for cloud security monitoring and threat detection.
• Implement automated security testing and continuous integration pipelines.
• Analyze security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews for security best practices.
• Contribute to innovation in cloud security technologies and architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development with focus on cloud security.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go for building secure applications.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and security tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments.
