Overview

Join OCI’s AI-Ops team to develop intelligent data and ML systems that enable Oracle Cloud to detect, diagnose, and resolve issues autonomously at hyperscale. As a Principal Software Developer in DS/DE, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable AI-driven solutions for cloud operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver world-class autonomous operations capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of large-scale data systems and ML pipelines for AI-Ops.
• Build autonomous detection, diagnosis, and resolution systems for hyperscale cloud environments.
• Architect scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for real-time data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and deliver AI features.
• Optimize ML models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency in production at scale.
• Mentor junior developers and drive best practices in software engineering.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, ML, and cloud operations to innovate solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development with focus on data systems or ML.
• Expertise in Python, Java, or Scala; proficiency in distributed systems (Spark, Kafka).
• Strong background in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP) and hyperscale data processing.
• Proven track record leading complex, high-impact projects in production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
