The OCI Media Services team designs, implements, and operates cloud services for content streaming and distribution. Key products include high-scale video delivery, video transcoding infrastructure, AI-driven metadata generation, and end-to-end media pipeline observability. Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high-scale streaming services on OCI.
• Architect performant infrastructure for video transcoding and processing.
• Implement AI/ML features for automated metadata generation.
• Build observability systems for media pipelines and service reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps.
• Optimize services for low-latency, high-throughput video delivery.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Drive operational excellence through automation and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in cloud or distributed systems.
• Expertise in Java, Go, or C++ with strong system design skills.
• Experience building scalable streaming or media processing services.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (OCI, AWS, GCP preferred).
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for media technologies.
