Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance cluster management services for OCI's cloud platform.
• Lead architecture decisions for scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new service features.
• Optimize system performance and reliability at massive scale.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in software engineering.
• Prototype and validate novel technologies for cluster orchestration.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize roadmap.
• Contribute to open-source projects and industry standards in cloud computing.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Go, Java, or C++ with a focus on systems programming.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and cluster management.
• Experience building highly available, scalable services in production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with large-scale system design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
