Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance cloud services.
• Develop and optimize core platform components using Java, Go, or similar languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and technical strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in software development.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and observability for distributed systems.
• Drive performance tuning and cost optimization for OCI workloads.
• Contribute to open-source projects and engage with the cloud community.
• Prototype and validate new technologies for OCI's evolving infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in cloud or distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one systems programming language (Java, Go, C++, Rust).
• Strong understanding of microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale engineering projects.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
