As a Principal Solutions Architect in Nashville, TN, you'll lead strategic initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Drive innovation and deliver transformative value to enterprise clients through expert architectural guidance.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable containerized solutions using OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE) for major customers.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop tailored cloud migration strategies.
- Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects demonstrating OCI's container and orchestration capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership in customer workshops, presentations, and architecture reviews.
- Optimize workloads for performance, cost, and security within OCI environments.
- Stay current with industry trends in containers, Kubernetes, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to OCI solution accelerators and best practices.
- Drive customer success by ensuring seamless adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with deep expertise in containers and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record working with OCI or comparable cloud platforms (AWS EKS, Azure AKS).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, including OKE, OCIR, and networking.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Architect) preferred.
