Overview

The Principal Technical Account Representative (TAM) drives strategic technical guidance, issue resolution, and account success for Oracle's enterprise customers in Karachi, Pakistan. As a trusted advisor and delivery lead, you will partner closely with clients to optimize their Oracle solutions and ensure maximum value realization. This role demands deep technical expertise and proactive relationship management to foster long-term customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical advisor for assigned enterprise accounts, providing strategic guidance on Oracle product adoption and optimization.
  • Lead proactive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and escalation management to minimize customer downtime and risks.
  • Develop and execute technical account plans aligned with customer business objectives and Oracle's strategic roadmap.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, performance assessments, and success metrics reporting with customer stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Oracle product teams, support, and sales to deliver customized solutions and roadmap advocacy.
  • Drive customer enablement through workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer on best practices.
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities through technical consultations and value demonstrations.
  • Maintain comprehensive account documentation, including health scores, risks, and action plans.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technical account management, customer success, or pre/post-sales engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), database technologies, or enterprise applications.
  • Proven track record managing complex enterprise accounts with $1M+ annual spend.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in incident management and technical troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence C-level executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications preferred.
