Position Overview

The Private Equity Practice Lead at Oracle builds long-term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners in the private equity sector. This role drives Oracle's growth by identifying opportunities, co-developing tailored solutions, and fostering alliances that deliver measurable value to private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Reporting to the Alliances leadership team, you will lead initiatives that position Oracle as the preferred cloud and technology partner in this high-growth industry vertical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic alliance plans with key private equity firms, targeting named accounts and industry verticals to drive mutual growth.
  • Build and nurture long-term C-level relationships with private equity leaders, portfolio company executives, and ecosystem partners.
  • Identify co-sell opportunities, joint go-to-market strategies, and value propositions tailored to private equity investment theses.
  • Collaborate with Oracle sales, product, and consulting teams to design and deliver customized cloud solutions for portfolio optimization.
  • Lead negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, including revenue-sharing models and performance metrics.
  • Track and report on alliance performance, pipeline development, and ROI to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Represent Oracle at industry events, private equity conferences, and partner summits to enhance brand visibility.
  • Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and case studies showcasing Oracle's impact in private equity.
  • Mentor alliance managers and contribute to practice-wide best practices for private equity engagements.
  • Analyze market trends in private equity to inform Oracle's product roadmap and alliance priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, or partnership management, with at least 5 years focused on private equity or financial services.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling strategic relationships that result in multi-million-dollar revenue opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of private equity business models, investment strategies, portfolio management, and value creation levers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex partnership agreements and driving co-sell pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and alliance management platforms for tracking performance metrics.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically to meet partners and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience working within a private equity firm, portfolio company, or as an advisor to PE clients.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Fusion Applications, or enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Existing network of relationships with top-tier private equity firms (e.g., Blackstone, KKR, Carlyle).
  • Advanced certification in sales enablement, alliance management, or cloud technologies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization like Oracle.
