Oracle is seeking a Production Service Developer 1 to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will develop and maintain production services to ensure reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure for enterprise customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that power Oracle's cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production services using Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Monitor and troubleshoot service performance in live production environments.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments.
• Collaborate with SRE teams to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Optimize services for scalability and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
• Write clean, maintainable code following Oracle's engineering standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents promptly.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in software development, preferably in cloud services.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Go).
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
