Overview

We are seeking Cloud Operation Engineers to manage and support cloud-based applications and customer environments at Oracle in India. The role involves deploying applications, monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and ensuring high availability using DevOps practices and automation tools. This position requires flexibility for 24×7 rotational shifts, including nights, to enhance production system performance, stability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure cloud-based applications in production environments.
• Monitor system performance and health using advanced tools.
• Investigate and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
• Implement automation scripts for deployment and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams on DevOps pipelines.
• Perform capacity planning and scaling of cloud resources.
• Ensure security compliance and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide 24×7 on-call support for critical production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud operations or DevOps.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS/Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Ability to work rotational 24×7 shifts, including nights.
